Rajesh Raj

Raj spent his early career working as a marine engineer before gravitating towards executive search and talent advisory work.

For seven years he co-founded and managed a London- based executive search and human capital consulting firm, where he supported many large global corporations and privately held entrepreneurial start-ups in the UK.

Prior to joining Gerard Daniels Raj also enjoyed stints working with other reputable executive search firms, focused on the global energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors, and performed roles for blue chip global corporations like BP, BG Group and BHP Billiton.

Today Raj brings a highly effective consultative approach to problem solving with his clients, and he draws on diverse international experience, deep sector knowledge and strong industry networks to support a growing portfolio of Gerard Daniels clients. As Managing Partner EMEA he is focused on delivering executive search and consulting for complex and sensitive leadership assignments that span board, executive, technical, operational, commercial and functional disciplines.

Raj enjoys the multifaceted nature of his role that includes leading a team, business strategy, marketing, networking, problem solving, interviewing, supporting leadership transitions, and most importantly making a positive impact on clients and candidates.
