- An early research project to create an economic solution for Rio Tinto’s new HPGR was a career highlight for Paul. This work enabled HPGR to be more widely utilised across the mining sector.
- Paul was also among the first in the country to implement high deposition rate plasma arc transfer (PTA) technology out of Germany and to commercialise in-situ laser surfacing technology in Australia.
- Completing the Kokoda Track in 7 days is one of Paul’s proudest personal achievements. He is also a proud family man, having raised four adult children and currently raising a fifth. While he enjoys playing sport, Paul has also spent time on the sidelines coaching junior sport.
